Heaven gained another little angel today...7 month old Caden Gerald Pennington.

Yesterday was spent with him hemmoraging all day.  The doctors finally told the family he was in stable condition around 11 last night.  That didn't last long.  He started to bleed again, through his nose and internally.

I got a call at 11 this morning, letting me know that as soon as my uncle (the baby's grandpa) got to the hospital, they were going to unhook him from the machine and let him pass from this life peacefully.

At 11:55, Heaven gained another soul.  Please keep his mother, father, and sister in your prayers. 

Okay, so maybe I'm not technically exhausted, but I'm feeling the effects of a JAM-CRAM-PACKED week.

Last Sunday, my mother had her annual Independence Day celebration with food, singing, and fireworks.  My husband and I got home around midnight, but I didn't actually sleep that much because my feet were aching.

Monday through Wednesday were Vacation Bible School, which included puppets, songs, crafts, a Bible story, and snacks each night.  This was concluded on Thursday with a cookout.

Friday and Saturday, I attended my mother's home church, which holds an annual outdoor singing.  I worked nonstop both nights serving food at the concession stand.

Today, I was searching for the perfect gift for my mother, seeing as how her birthday is on Wednesday.  No luck.  We had VBS commencement tonight.
